Description of the 2004 Cup from owner:
It was raced and won the 2004 SGS Championship (Later replaced by the GT class)in Grand-Am driven by Andy Lally, Mark Bunting, and Spencer Pumpelly. The car was campaigned by TPC Racing out of Baltimore owned by Mike Levitas. After winning the championship the car was sold to Apple motorsports who ran it in 2 races before selling the car to me in 2006. I have raced the car in SCCA GT-2 winning the Northeast Championship in 2008. Full Motec Pro data with expanded memory and display (steering wheel mounted screen toggles and dash mounted shift lights). All 2004-05 Cup updates including 3 position ECU mapping, fuel reserve, pit lane speed limiter. Electronic oil level box and pressurized oil fill dry break. Carbon - nose, Grand-Am fenders, doors, engine cover, mirrors. Built-in motorola base 2-way radio. TPC developed driver adjustable 5 position sway bars front and rear. JRZ 3 way adjustable shocks rebuilt with all new components 11 hours old (shock dyno sheets on CD). The car had an sealed engine rebuild at Porsche Motorsports 12 hours prior to my purchasing the car and it now has 28.5 hours. The trans was rebuild with all new internals and has 11 hours of time on it (over $9,000 in work) The clutch and flywheel have been upgraded to RSR Tilton specs (11hours); as well as all control arms, ties rods and spherical joints. I have the stock Suspension links, but have upgraded all bogbone links to GMG adjustable links developed by James Safronas in Speed World Challenge. I have rotor hats for Alcon or Brembo rotors as well as the stock rotors which are on the car. All calipers have titanium inserts. Axels are Blue RSR parts and have 19 hours on them. RSR exhaust headers with custom mufflers (101db)(2 sets). Driver cool suit. 4 sets of CCW wheels. air wand, Grand -Am spec carbon wing with uprights ($2800)in box, as well as cup car wing on car. Brand new nose, light weight hood never mounted. assorted spares: rotors, hats, axles, springs, mounted rains and more. I will be having the car stripped and painted Porsche white prior to sale also new front glass. I have been providing track-prep for customer race-cars for several years and this has been my personal car; I have been very thorough in maintenance and cycling out parts before failure. I have had very few issues with the car and nothing that has not been corrected.
